Amanda is a Registered Psychotherapist, recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology at Bishop’s University (2014-2018), culminating in a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with distinction at Yorkville University (2020-2022). Since 2019, Amanda has been actively engaged in the mental health field. Her education and practical experience have equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide impactful psychotherapy.
Amanda offers individual psychotherapy for both youth and adults, ages 15 to 65. Her practice addresses a spectrum of mental health concerns, including but not limited to life stresses, anxiety, grief, interpersonal problems, and depression. Amanda supports and empowers clients using a collaborative and strength-based approach to therapy, emphasizing essential tools such as boundaries and self-care. Amanda integrates a blend of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy among others, tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and facilitate their path towards healing and growth.
